Karter and Kayson have Salt Wasting Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia. They are two of the strongest boys I know. They are so strong and resillient. Karter has paved the way for his little brother Kayson by trying all sorts of treatments. He has shown just how strong and determined one with CAH can be. Kayson has been a little fighter from the minute he was born. CAH has stolen a lot of fun memories and time from our family, but it has given us so much more. We have learned to focus on the little wins, the happy moments, crossing finish lines, getting good grades, winning games, getting awards, being kind, and having as much fun as we can. Life is promised to no one, which is why we choose to walk through life with grit and a smile.
